Flamigel^® acts like a sponge that absorbs excess moisture and moisturises dry wounds when needed. The moist wound healing process prevents scabbing on the wound, so that the wound always has an optimal moisture level. This heals a wound faster and reduces the risk of scarring. Flamigel^® is essential in your home First-Aid Kit and is ideal for the treatment of superficial wounds such as minor burns, cuts & grazes, lacerations or sunburn.

Flamigel can be used on dry or wet wounds:
Dry Wound: Flamigel converts dry wound (or burn) into hydrated (hydrogel action). The dry wound (or burn) absorbs the water contained in the Flamigel, promoting the decomposition of dead or damaged tissue. Wet Wound: Flamigel hydrocolloid is activated. Thus, Flamigel absorbs excess wound fluid, restoring and maintaining moisture balance in the wound (“hydrocolloid” action).
First degree burns: Carefully place the Flamigel on the burn, spreading it without rubbing.
Open wounds: Clean the wound. Dry the wound carefully. Apply a thick layer of Flamigel (5 mm) on the wound. Install a gauze pad.
PRECAUTIONS:

• Side effects such as irritation or allergic reactions are very rare.
• Do not use Flamigel on eyelids or eyes as an eye gel. If you do, rinse your eyes with plenty of water for at least 5 minutes.
• Extensive exudative wounds require the use of another product instead of Flamigel, with greater absorbent capacity.
• In wounds with severe infection, additional treatment is required. In some other wounds, additional treatment may be indicated.

Active ingredients: Colloidal polymeric acid, arginine.
Inactive Ingredients: Purified Water, BCFA, methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl-p-hydroxybenzoate.
