URGO Filmogel® Cold Sore is designed to protect and treat the lesions and symptoms of cold sores. This product can be used from the first appearance of symptoms through the complete disappearance of the wound. The virus that causes cold sores is the Herpes Simplex virus. It generally appears around the mouth and lips. It swells, reddens, causes itching, burns and stinging. URGO Filmogel® Cold Sore in gel form creates an invisible film that treats herpes at every stage. Relieves itching, stinging, burning, reduces the development of herpes and crust formation. In addition, Filmogel® solution prevents infection and promotes healing.

Apply the required dose to clean skin using the supplied disposable spatula to cover cold sores. You may feel a slight tingling or burning sensation during application. Let it dry for about 1 to 2 minutes. Drying time depends on the amount of product applied. A transparent film will form over the cold sores. This Filmogel® can be used at the first symptoms of herpes (tingling, itching, burning) up to four times a day to prevent the appearance of cold sores. Repeat the application as often as needed, depending on the adhesion of the film to your skin or lips: from 2 to 4 times a day. Continue treatment until completely cured. URGO Cold Sore is designed for practical, safe and hygienic application.

Comments:
Do not use in the following cases: In surgical wounds larger than 1 cm in diameter, which require medical advice. In case of bacterial infection and / or risk of bacterial infection.
