1. Prepare the Medication:
   • Shake the inhaler well to ensure the medication is properly mixed.
   • Remove the cap and insert the inhaler mouthpiece into the Aerochamber.
2. Put the Mask On:
   • Place the Aerochamber’s mask snugly over your nose and mouth.
   • Ensure it creates a good seal to prevent medication from leaking out.
3. Activate the Inhaler:
   • Press down on the inhaler once to release a dose into the Aerochamber.
   • Do this only when the mask is already positioned correctly on your face.
4. Inhale Slowly:
   • Breathe in slowly and deeply through the mask.
   • The Flow-Vu indicator (if available) helps you ensure you’re inhaling correctly.
5. Hold Your Breath:
   • After inhaling, hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds to allow the medication to settle in your lungs.
   • This step is crucial to ensure effective drug delivery.
6. Repeat if Necessary:
   • If your prescription requires more than one dose, wait at least 30 seconds before taking another puff.
   • Shake the inhaler again before each puff.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance:
   • Wash the Aerochamber according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Most models can be hand washed with warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher (top rack, up to 70°C).
   • Let the Aerochamber air dry before using it again.
8. Regularly Check for Wear:
   • Inspect the chamber and mask regularly for signs of wear or damage, and replace if necessary.
