L-Mesitran Foam is a sterile non-adherent hydrophilic polyurethane foam dressing of about 3 mm, impregnated with the patented L-Mesitran Soft gel. It forms a cushioning layer that protects the wound from mechanical stress while allowing drainage to pass and has high absorbtion and high retention characteristics.
It contains 40% Medical Grade Honey, medical grade hypoallergenic lanolin, propylene glycol, PEG 4000 and vitamin C& E. L-Mesitran Foam creates a regenerative environment and can be used in the treatment of a wide range of exuding wounds.

• L-Mesitran Foam is a sterile non-stick hydrophilic polyurethane foam coating approximately 3 mm thick, which contains the patented L-Mesitran Soft gel.
• This gel contains: 40% medical grade honey, medical grade hypoallergenic lanolin, propylene glycol, PEG 4000 and vitamins C and E.
• The foam absorbs and retains the exudate formed. The product creates a humid environment in the wound. It stimulates wound healing by facilitating the autolysis of necrotic and other dead materials, supporting wound bed preparation and epithelial cell migration.
• L-Mesitran Foam has antibacterial properties.
• L-Mesitran Foam is the primary wound dressing that can be secured on site with a suitable dressing material.

L-Mesitran Foam can be used to treat a wide range of exuding wounds, including:

• diabetic ulcers
• pressure ulcers
• surface burns and burns II. degrees
• sites after donor tissue collection
• chronic wounds and postoperative wounds.

The foam cover can be used throughout the healing process.
