Description
The honey-hydrogel pad donates moisture to re-hydrate dry tissue, and is also able to absorb low to high levels of exudate to help maintain a moist environment conducive to healing. The film backing provides the dressing with bacterial barrier properties. The adhesive border from the Border allows the dressing to be fixed securely. This is useful when patients need to shower or bathe with the dressing in place.

• It is recommended to clean the ulcer with saline before placing the patch.
• The patch ensures painless changes as it detaches easily when removed without injuring the tissue.
• To remove the patch, the user must peel off one end slightly and pull it horizontally, not upwards. It continues gradually with the same movements around the perimeter of the patch until it is completely detached.
• The patches are applied to the relief of the ulcer while the skin area around the ulcer is required to be dry before being placed in it. The product has high quality adhesive silicone which assimilates any body movements without detaching.
• The indicated shelf life of the product in the ulcer is determined in 1-5 days depending on the amount of exudates. The visible swelling of the patch is an indication of the coverage of its absorbent capacity and the need to install a new one.
• The product has no effect on blood glucose levels and does not penetrate the wound. No side effects have been reported or reported to date, however it is recommended that it is not used by people who are allergic to its ingredients.
