Frisolac Post Discharge is a powdered milk, instant prepared, for the dietary treatment of premature or underweight babies after they leave the maternity hospital, if they are not breastfeeding. In addition, it is enriched in its basic components, as well as in vitamins and trace elements, in order to cover the particularly increased nutritional needs of premature or underweight babies. It also contains DHA as required by European baby food law.

The advanced composition of Frisolac Post Discharge is an achievement of research and know-how of the FrieslandCampina Research Center. It is prepared according to the strict specifications of ESPGHAN and the requirements of Reg. (EU) 128/2016 for infant milks for special medical purposes.

It is absolutely essential for your baby’s health to follow the nutrition chart and instructions for use, as well as the advice of your pediatrician.

1. Wash your hands and all utensils thoroughly with soap and water. Rinse everything with clean water to remove any traces of detergent.
2. Boil all clean utensils for at least 5 minutes, add the nipple of the bottle and cook for another 5 minutes.
3. Boil clean drinking water for 5 minutes. Allow the boiled water to cool to 40⁰C before preparing the milk.
4. Put the right amount of water in the bottle (see nutrition chart).
5. Use the measuring tape of the package and the flat cutter and then add the right amount of powder to the bottle (see nutrition dosing table).
6. Shake well until the powder is completely dissolved.
7. Test the temperature and feed your baby if the milk is warm.
8. Always use freshly made milk.
9. Do not use leftover milk from previous meals.

Caution: Use the milk within one hour from the time of preparation.
From the moment the package is opened, it is kept for up to 4 weeks with a tightly closed lid in a dry and cool environment.
Follow the storage instructions of the package faithfully. The shelf life of a closed package is 2 years
