Frisolac Powdered Milk:

Preparation:

1. Cleanliness: Ensure that your hands, the feeding bottle, and any other utensils you use are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to maintain hygiene.
2. Boiling Water: Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool down to around 40-50°C (104-122°F). Use a kettle, microwave, or stovetop for this purpose. It’s essential to use water of the right temperature to prepare the formula correctly.
3. Measuring Scoop: Use the provided measuring scoop that comes with the Frisolac packaging. It’s essential to use the correct scoop size to maintain the formula’s nutritional balance.

Mixing:

1. Add Water: Pour the previously boiled and cooled water into the feeding bottle, following the recommended quantity mentioned on the packaging. Typically, it’s one level scoop of Frisolac powder for every 30 ml (1 fluid ounce) of water. Refer to the specific instructions on the product packaging for accuracy.
2. Add Powder: Using the provided measuring scoop, add the appropriate amount of Frisolac powdered milk to the water in the feeding bottle. Be sure to level off the scoop without compressing the powder.
3. Mix Thoroughly: Seal the bottle with its cap and shake it vigorously to mix the powdered formula with the water until it’s fully dissolved and evenly distributed. Ensure there are no clumps.

Feeding:

1. Check Temperature: Before feeding, make sure the formula’s temperature is appropriate for your baby. It should be lukewarm or body temperature (around 37°C or 98.6°F). You can test it by dripping a few drops on your wrist.
2. Feed Your Baby: Hold the feeding bottle at the correct angle so that the teat/nipple is filled with milk to prevent air from entering your baby’s stomach. Ensure your baby is comfortable while feeding.
3. Feeding Quantity: Follow your baby’s feeding cues and the guidance provided by your pediatrician for the appropriate feeding quantity and frequency based on your baby’s age and weight.
4. Discard Unused Formula: Any unused formula should be discarded after the feeding session, as it should not be re-used or stored for later use.
