The APIVITA Herbal Creams range is formulated with healing herbs based on the theory and tradition of Hippocrates. Calendula (marigold) is known for its hydrating and soothing properties. It is traditionally used to:
- Hydrate dry and sensitive skin and help relieve mild irritations and rashes
- Soothe children’s sensitive skin
- Soothe skin after shaving
APIVITA’s Herbal Cream with Calendula guarantees maximum effectiveness by using different forms of the active ingredient:
* 8% Calendula οil: Calendula flowers are immersed in vegetable oil for a specific period. They are then removed to obtain calendula oil.
* 5% Calendula ticture: Calendula flowers are immersed in an alcohol solution for a specific period. They are then removed to obtain a calendula ticture.
* 66% Calendula Infusion: Calendula flowers are immersed in hot water for 10 minutes. They are then removed to obtain a calendula infusion.
