- Agnus castus: Agnus castus is a herb endemic to the Mediterranean region, used to balance the female cycle. According to studies, its bioactive compounds affect dopamine receptors. They stimulate the hypothalamus, thus regulating the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). It also regulates prolactin secretion and activates opioid receptors. Studies have shown that agnus castus reduces menopause symptoms.
- Black Cohosh: Black Cohosh is a herb with estrogen-mimicking action. As a result, it reduces hot flashes, aids in mental health, helps combat weight gain, improves sleep quality, and reduces vaginal dryness.
- Vitamin B6: Vitamin B6 helps regulate hormonal activity and balance. Low levels of B6 are usually associated with dizziness, nausea, fatigue, confusion, anemia, or cognitive function problems. As a coenzyme it is involved in many functions and biochemical reactions in the body. Particularly for menopause, studies have shown that its administration drastically reduces symptoms such as mood swings, nausea and pain, while improving blood flow and regulating the production of certain hormones. It is also involved in the production of serotonin and GABA, hormones that play a significantt role in mood.
- Folic acid or Vitamin B9: Folic acid deficiency intensifies symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, anorexia, diarrhoea, weight loss, headaches, tachycardia and behavioural disorders.
- Vitamin D3: Vitamin D3 functions like a hormone and every cell in the body has a receptor for it. Its deficiency causes serious symptoms such as increased risk of infections, increased fatigue, bone and back pain, depression, poor wound healing, loss of bone mass, hair loss or muscle pain.
- Magnesium: Magnesium helps lowering blood pressure, reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke, preventing osteoporosis, improves sleep, reduces anxiety, nervousness and mood swings. It relieves the gastrointestinal discomfort with its laxative action.
- Sage: Sage has powerful antioxidant and antibacterial properties. It improves cognitive function, alertness and calmness, inhibits pancreatic lipase activity, a phenomenon that contributes to weight regulation and has clinically proven effectiveness in treating hot flashes during menopause.
- Passiflora (Passionflower): Pacificola is a South American native climbing plant with a history as a therapeutic herb since Inca times. It contains maltol, flavonoids and passiflorin, which chemically resembles morphine, serotonin and maltol. It is a calming plant, essential in the treatment of persistent insomnia, addresses anxiety, melancholy, nervousness and relieves pain. It helps with reduced libido.
- Evening primrose. Evening primrose oil is successfully used in a wide variety of therapies, including menopause symptoms. Additionally, it is converted into prostaglandin E1, which has anti-inflammatory properties that act both by thinning the blood and helping it circulate properly.
