What About Hair Loss?

Hair grows  0.2-0.5mm per day and the average of its lifetime is 3-4 years, during which it undergo various hardships resulting in losing some of their strength, shine and beauty.

“Chemical” treatments, aggressive beauty products and brutal treatment with the brush and hair dryer lead to damaged hair and hair loss.

Hair is “born”, grows and eventually falls out. It grows 0.35mm daily, while it can reach a length of up to one meter in its lifetime. 90% of our hair is in a growth phase and 10% in a resting phase.

Hair growth depends on several factors:

·         from the season (faster in summer, later in winter)

·         by gender (is higher in women)

·         from age (hair growth cycle decreases in individuals

·         older, the number of hair follicles gradually decreases)

·         from the diet (lack of vitamins, trace elements, amino acids, can have a negative effect)

·         from hormones (adolescence, pregnancy, menopause).

Hair loss is apparently a woman’s problem as researchers say 3 out of 4 women will experience it once or more in their lifetime.  A lot of causes can cause it! With the exception of seasonality, hair loss can be due to poor nutrition, hormonal or metabolic disorders, stress and external factors including environmental pollution.

How Does the Environment Affect Our Hair?
If you live in a city, then you should know that your hair suffers from the cloud. The tiny dust from the exhaust settles on the hair and makes it look dirty and damaged, even if you have bathed the same morning. The cloud not only damages the beauty of the hair, but also threatens it with “suffocation”, especially if it is already damaged.

In this case, the hair follicle is lifted making the marrow particularly porous and therefore more prone to absorb contaminants, which in this way penetrate deeper into the hair and adhere to the stem. That is why it is very important to remove them as soon as possible with a special shampoo that cleans the hair deeply. Then, to smooth the hair follicles, it is necessary to use a remodeling cream, which rebuilds the surface layer and protects the hair from external attacks.

Your allies are herbal products, whether cleansing or healing!
Herbal oils and hair masks and other natural products can be a beneficial treatment for hair loss. Using them can cause thickening of the hair in a natural way, without the use of chemicals and cortisone drugs.

Nettle is one of the most popular herbs for hair loss, as its root prevents the hormone DHT, which is responsible for androgenic alopecia, from being produced.

·         It is rich in nutrients including vitamins A, C and K, minerals, calcium, silicon, magnesium, phosphorus, gallic acid, vegetable iron, chlorophyll, tannins, carotene and histamine.

·         It can be an effective treatment for hair loss in men and women to treat stress-induced hair loss, accumulation of dead skin cells on the scalp, seborrheic dermatitis, pro or hypothyroidism, etc.

·         The action of nettle is manifested first of all by a dandruff-reducing activity and restoration of the natural pH of the outermost layer of the skin, thus by cleansing the possibly blocked follicles and stimulating the superficial capillaries which, thanks to a greater blood supply, receive more nutrients to ensure bulb growth.
