Description
MacuShield^® Original Chewable provides a MacuShield^® Original formulation with additional vitamin B2 which helps maintain normal vision. The product is a one-a-day, bilberry flavoured chewable tablet which is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Scientific research shows that three nutrients; meso-zeaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin are found at the back of the eye, at the macula, where they form the macular pigment (yellow colour). Meso-zeaxanthin is particularly concentrated at the centre of this pigment.

Lutein and zeaxanthin can be found in fruits and vegetables and meso-zeaxanthin is present in some species of fish and seafood. The macular carotenoids in MacuShield^® Original Chewable are obtained from marigolds (Tagetes Erecta), specifically grown for this purpose.

Pregnant or lactating women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.

One chewable tablet per day.

Meso-Zeaxanthin: 10mg
Lutein: 10mg
Zeaxanthin: 2mg
Vitamin B2: 0.3mg

Bulking agent: Sorbitol (E420), marigold extract (modified food starch, corn starch, glucose syrup, lutein, meso-zeaxanthin, sodium ascorbate, DL alpha tocopherols, zeaxanthin), bilberry flavouring (maltodextrin, natural flavouring agents, silicon dioxide, flavouring preparations), silicon dioxide, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, sweetener: steviol glycosides (E353), riboflavin (mono and diglyceride fatty acids, riboflavin and corn starch).
