Epsilon Health Effecol Prep is a powdered medical device for the preparation of an oral suspension, suitable for effective bowel evacuation before endoscopic examinations or in clinical situations that require complete bowel cleansing. Removal of the solid residue in the large intestine is essential for a correct diagnosis. Effecol Prep Epsilon Health contains macrogol 3350, an inert substance that is not absorbed in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa, is not fermented and is eliminated from the digestive system unchanged. Thanks to its good affinity with water, Macrogoli 3350 attracts large amounts of water, which results in the softening of the stool mass and the stimulation of the normal peristalsis. Simethicone, thanks to its antifoaming properties, reduces the feeling of bloating in the gastrointestinal tract.
For a complete bowel evacuation, necessary to prepare for certain diagnostic tests (radiological or endoscopic examination of the colon, abdominal ultrasound) as well as in other clinical conditions, carefully follow the information provided by the center where the endoscopic examination is performed.
To instantly prepare the oral suspension, pour the contents of 2 sachets into a 1 liter container of water and shake well to obtain a homogeneous solution.
The preparation should be consumed within 1-2 hours: probably drinking 250ml every 10-15 minutes until you have consumed the first liter.
After finishing, drink 500ml of water (half a liter), in order to receive a total of 1.5L (1 liter of the preparation and 500ml of water).
After about 1 hour, repeat the process with the other two sachets by dissolving them in IL water and consume in the same way as described above (1L of preparation and 500ml of water).
This way at the end of the treatment you will have received a total volume of liters of fluid.

Excipients: Silicon Dioxide, Aroma, Sodium Saccharin.
