Description

JALPLAST Gauzes are sterile, cream-impregnated gauzes in which the main ingredient is hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid is a biological polysaccharide (glycosaminoglycan) distributed in the extracellular matrix of most tissues. Due to its hydrophilic properties, it provides a hydrated environment around and between cells, thus facilitating cell migration.

Indications

JALPLAST Gauzes are indicated for the treatment of skin irritations and damage. Specifically, they are intended to cover acute and chronic wounds (abrasions, donor and postoperative incisions, first and second burns grade, vascular and metabolic ulcers and bedsores) and ensure a hydrated environment in the wound, protecting it from abrasions, friction and dryness.

Wounds or ulcers should be cleaned and disinfected before treatment. Apply one or more gauzes, depending on the size of the lesion, two or three times a day, using sterile forceps for the removal of gauze. Do not use for more than 30 consecutive times days. The treated area should be covered with a sterile dressing.

Contraindications
Do not use in patients with established hypersensitivity to the product’s components.

Warnings & Precautions

• Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated in the package.
• The expiration date applies to the product that has been preserved in its original state packaging and at a temperature below 30°C.
• In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding and use in children, consult him your doctor before using the product, as the safety and effectiveness of JALPLAST in these cases have not been established.
• The gauze is sterile. The sterilization of the gauzes is guaranteed if the packaging is closed and intact.
• Gauze is for single use only which means it is meant to be used only once for a single patient.
• If this product is reused, Fidia Farmaceutici cannot guarantee performance, functionality, material structure or purity or aseptic condition of the product. Reuse can lead to illness, infection and/or serious harm to the patient or user.

Main ingredient: Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.05%
Other ingredients: Cotton, Polyethylene glycol 4000, Glycerol, Purified water.
